Th meat department at La Mexicana has been open since 1997 and specializes in custom cut meats following our Mexican traditions. It was modeled after our large meat department in our Norwalk, California store. The meat department features all kinds of meat, poultry, and seafood that you would find in a typical carniceria in Mexico. During winter months you can find tripe and honeycomb for Menudo, pork neck bones for Pozole, and beef shanks for beef stew. During summer months try our famous marinated carne asada beef and marinated chicken perfect for grilling on the beach or backyard barbecue. No visit to La Mexicana would be complete without trying our homemade chorizo sausage. We also feature custom cut deli cheese and ham with meats imported from Mexico.
